Biographical Information
Tabitha Peterson, a competitive curler from Burnsville, Minnesota, began curling at the age of 10 at the Saint Paul Curling Club. She was exposed to a variety of sports growing up, but curling became her passion in 2005. Peterson’s family has a strong athletic background, and her sister, Tara Peterson, is also a curler. Outside of curling, Peterson works as a pharmacist.
Olympic Highlights
Tabitha Peterson competed in the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Games, where the U.S. women’s curling team finished 8th. In the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games, Peterson’s team improved to sixth place, where she served as skip.
World Championship Highlights
Peterson earned a bronze medal at the 2021 World Women’s Curling Championship and a bronze at the 2023 Pan Continental Championships.
U.S. Championship Highlights
Peterson is a U.S. women’s curling champion, winning in 2012, 2020, 2023 and 2024.
Early Career
Peterson began her curling career at age 10, competing at the 2010 World Junior Curling Championships where her team earned a bronze medal. She also won a bronze medal at the 2016 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championships.
