Chester was honorably discharged from the Army in 2001 and became a first-generation college student in 2002. Many years ago, while serving in the Army at Fort Sill, Oklahoma Triplett began experiencing symptoms of Stargardt’s disease, an incurable genetic eye disorder that’s a form of macular degeneration. He does not have central vision which is where individuals get their visual acuity. After graduation, while attending the Veteran Administration’s blind rehabilitation program in Birmingham, Alabama Chester discovered the U.S. Paralympics Cycling program. Since then, he has constantly improved his racing on the national and international levels....Hobbies include singing country music and spending time with his wifeWorld Championship Experience
