Three-time Olympian Todd Hays began the sport of bobsled in 1994. Hays ended the 46-year Olympic medal drought for the U.S. men's Bobsled team by winning the silver medal in 4-man Bobsled at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. He followed his Olympic performance with silver and bronze World Championship medals in 2003 and 2004, respectively. He finished 7th in 2-man and 4-man at the 2006 Olympic Games before taking a year off from the sport. Hays returned in 2008 and has his sights set on his fourth Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada.
