At the Paris 2024 Olympics, he delivered an exceptional performance, averaging a team-best 14.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. His shooting was particularly remarkable, converting 47.8% from beyond the arc, including an impressive 65.4% in the final two games, while maintaining a perfect free throw percentage across 7 attempts. He etched his name in USA Basketball history by joining Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony as the only Americans to record 20+ threes in an Olympics. His standout performances included a crucial 24-point game (8-12 3FG) with 5 assists in the final victory against France, where he scored 12 points in the fourth quarter and a historic 36-point outburst (9-14 3FG) against Serbia in the semifinals—the second-highest scoring performance by an American in Olympic history. Curry achieved two gold medals representing the U.S. men’s national team at the 2010 FIBA World Cup in Turkey and the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain.
Curry was drafted seventh overall by the Golden State Warriors in the 2009 NBA Draft. He quickly emerged as a transformative player, leading the Warriors to four NBA championships (2015, 2017, 2018, 2022) and winning two MVP awards (2015, 2016).
