Biographical Information
Sarah Anderson is a curler from Pennsylvania who was introduced to curling at a young age. Her parents Wayne and Arlene Anderson are originally from Winchester, Ontario, and grew up curling. Sarah, her twin sister Taylor Anderson-Heide, and three other sisters (Larissa Day, Courtney Slata, and Emily Pinelli) all followed in their parents’ footsteps, taking up curling. Anderson has competed alongside her twin sister Taylor in several events.
Olympic Highlights
Sarah competed in the Inssubruck 2012 Youth Olympic Games in Austria, where she placed fifth with her mixed-gender curling team.
World Championship Highlights
Anderson won a silver medal at the 2016 World Junior Curling Championships.
U.S. Championship Highlights
In 2019, Sarah won the U.S. Women’s Curling Championship with her twin sister, Taylor Anderson. She also won gold at the U.S. Mixed Doubles Championships in 2015 and 2018.

Early Career
Sarah began her curling career by competing at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria, where she placed fifth in the mixed-gender curling event.
