• Grandfather’s name is Ray Bachmeier and grandmother is Bev Bachmeier. Has one older brother, Josh, and a younger brother, Cody
• Became an amputee after her foot was smashed between two forklifts during an accident at work
• Attended Plainview High School where she was an All-State softball player
• Also participated in track and basketball
• Admires her grandparents because "they are very strong and caring people who would do anything for their family. They have been my No. 1 supporters since day one."
• Her favorite professional teams are the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Lakers
• USAV Women’s Sitting Player of the Year (2015, 2017, 2019)
• Named Best Server at the 2017 World ParaVolley Super 6
• Married husband Landon Matthews in 2016
• Hobbies include playing with her nieces and nephew, playing with her cats and watching zombie movies.
