Walsh Jennings is the daughter of Tim and Margie Walsh. Tim played minor league
baseball with the Oakland A’s organization and also played semi-pro
basketball. Margie was a
volleyball MVP at Santa Clara. Walsh Jennings has an older brother, Marte, two younger sisters, Kelli and KC... Married to beach Volleyball player Casey Jennings. The pair has three children, sons Joseph (2009) and Sundance (2010) and daughter Scout (2013)... Walsh Jennings competed while pregnant with Joseph following the 2008 Olympic Games. She was pregnant with Scout during the 2012 Olympic Games... Walsh Jennings was inducted into the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011 and into the Pac-12 Hall of Honor in 2018... - Became the most decorated beach volleyball Olympian of all-time after winning bronze in 2016; has three gold and one bronze in beach volleyball; she is a five-time Olympian

- In 2016 on the FIVB World Tour, Ross and Walsh Jennings medaled nine times, of which five were gold. Finished the 2016 season tying for fifth at the World Tour Finals, losing to the Olympic gold medalists from Germany Laura Ludwig/Kira Walkenhorst
- In the first FIVB tournament following the 2016 Olympics, won gold with Ross at the Long Beach Grand Slam, their fifth gold of 2016 and 11th as a team
- Won bronze with April Ross at the 2016 Rio Olympics, beating Brazil's Larissa Franca/Talita Antunes, 17-21, 21-17, 15-9
- With April Ross, had six medals in 2016 Olympic qualification (2015-16) and earned a #3 seed at the Games

- Following the 2015 Rio Open, underwent surgery on her right shoulder for a torn labrum and capsule, her fifth surgery. In her first event back following surgery, won gold at the Rio Grand Slam on March 13, 2016. It was her 51st career FIVB gold and first gold in 2016 Olympic qualification
- Made her return after a 32-day hiatus, with April Ross at the Beach World Championships in The Netherlands. Even after time off due to injury, the team was seeded third overall. Finished fourth at the Gstaad Major after re-injuring her shoulder in the third round, duo withdrew from the semifinal and bronze medal matches
- On the 2014 FIVB Tour, Ross and Walsh Jennings won four gold medals, besting that in 2016 with five gold medals
- Walsh Jennings and partner April Ross went undefeated on the domestic AVP Tour in 2014. They went 7-0 in tournaments, 36-0 in matches and 70-3 in sets
- Started playing full time with April Ross at the end of 2013 and the team won two FIVB gold medals
- Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor beat April Ross and Jennifer Kessy for the gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games. After the match, Walsh Jennings asked Ross to become her partner

- Indoor, Walsh Jennings was the second volleyball player in NCAA history to be a four-time First-Team All-American when she was at Stanford (1996-99)
