Jesse Karmazin began his rowing career as a freshman at Princeton University. Shortly thereafter, he joined the national adaptive Rowing team in 2004, then in its initial years. As one of the most experienced rowers in his boat, he takes great pleasure in watching and shaping the evolution of adaptive Rowing.

In 2008, Karmazin used his experience to make the U.S. Paralympic Rowing Team. He traveled to Beijing, China, to participate in the Paralympic Games, where he competed in the mixed four with coxswain - LTA.

Karmazin grew up in south Florida and is currently a proud resident of the nation's capital, Washington, D.C. When he is not training with his team, he rows out of Potomac Boat Club.
