Personal:

"Liz" was in London for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, filming a short documentary on Fauja Singh, at the time, a 101 year old marathon runner carrying the Olympic Torch in the relay. During her down time, she witnessed Michael Phelps win gold medals in swimming and Team USA win gold in gymnastics and beach volleyball. As a result, she caught the Olympic spirit.

Liz was a three-year varsity basketball player at Chapman University, and led her team in field goal percentage, and was second in field goals made and all rebounding categories in her senior year. While in high school, Liz competed in hurdles for Track and Field, and played basketball, earning first-team All-Trinity League as a senior, along with being First Team All-CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) Southern Section. She also played soccer for 10 years.

Liz completed her Master in Business Administration in June of 2019 at University of California, Irvine, and enjoys working in the family business, a women-owned trucking company in the Southern California Construction Industry.
