  • Alexandra started skiing after moving from the US to Norway when she was 13. The year after she started biathlon and was immediately hooked on the sport
  • One of her best experiences in the sport was showing up for biathlon practice in her local Norwegian club after Lowell Bailey won the gold for the US in the 2017 world championships
  • She was awarded the Norwegian Biathlon Federation’s “Courage Award” (Mot Prisen) in 2018 for dealing with athletic adversity and development, and for role-modelling team spirit. She was also a Norwegian “Young Star” qualifier in 2018
  • Mom is American and dad is Norwegian, she has a younger brother (Jesper) who is also a biathlete. In the offseason she likes to connect with her friends outside the sport and likes to go tenting with friends in the Norwegian mountains. Coming home to her black lab Nora is also a big part of her day
