Aidan Oldenburg started his curling journey inspired by his three older siblings. His career began at the Mankato Curling Club, where he developed his skills through junior programs and competitions. He attended Minnesota State University, Mankato earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology. During his time at MNSU, he was team captain of the Varsity Valorant esports team. He works in the environmental sciences field.
Oldenburg competed in the 2023 U.S. championship event with Team Ruohonen, and the U.S. mixed doubles championship in 2024 with Madison Bear.
Oldenburg is the lead for Team Casper, competing in high-profile events and pursuing elite-level curling.
Oldenburg won a silver medal at the 2021 Junior National Championships and took second place at the 2022 USCA Junior Championships.
