Biographical Information
Madison Bear began curling in her hometown of Portage, Wisconsin, during her youth. She attended Portage High School and later graduated from Concordia College, St. Paul, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Psychology. She returned to school at Minnesota State University Moorhead, where she earned a Master of Counseling degree in Clinical Mental Health. A licensed professional counselor in Wisconsin, Bear is passionate about supporting others and advocating for mental health. Outside of work and curling, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her energetic dog.
Olympic Highlights
Madison Bear made her Olympic trials debut at the 2022 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Curling, where Team Bear competed against some of the top teams in the nation.
U.S. Championship Highlights
Madison is a two-time U.S. junior curling champion and earned a silver medal at the 2016 World Junior Curling Championships. At the Goldline U.S. Open of Curling in September 2020, Madison Bear's team placed third in Blaine, Minnesota. The following year, she competed in the Curve U.S. Open of Curling Mixed Doubles, also held in Blaine, earning notable recognition in August 2021.

Early Career
Madison Bear's curling journey began in her youth, with standout performances in high school and junior-level competitions. Representing Portage High School, she became a two-time Wisconsin State High School Champion and showcased her skills internationally at the U18 Optimist International. These formative years set the stage for her future achievements on the ice.
