Divers and synchronized teams must have achieved a minimum score at a qualifying event in order to compete at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
Women perform five dives, while men do six dives. At trials, synchronized teams will perform their list of dives twice (preliminaries and finals). The individual events will consist of a preliminary, semifinal and final.
