Team USA athletes are not only champions in sport but also champions in making a long-lasting impact within their communities.

The Team USA Community Champions in partnership with Comcast award recognizes Olympic and Paralympic athletes making a difference through charitable organizations whose missions focus on youth sports, physical activity or health, and well-being.

We're proud to name Connie Carpenter Phinney (Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson’s), Alysia Montaño (&Mother), Tara Peterson (Hope Dental Clinic) and Rico Roman (Bridge City Inclusive Sports) as our 2024 award recipients.

As part of this honor, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Foundation and Comcast have provided grants to each athlete and their respective nonprofits to continue their great work.

Rico, Connie, Tara and Alysia truly exemplified what it means to be a Team USA Community Champion by consistently embodying the Olympic and Paralympic values and we're honored to recognize them with this honor.
