Son of Carole and Jean Louis Germain...Max grew up in Alaska and Chamonix, France...He began biathlon at age 13 in Chamonix...At age 15 Max returned to Alaska to attend West High School in Anchorage...He is studying to become a commercial pilot...Max enjoys surfing, back country skiing, rock climbing and mountain running...His favorite food is PASTA!
