Tracey Anderson was joking around with her
rowing teammates at the University of Cincinnati about becoming an Olympic
bobsledder after watching the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. When Anderson moved to Utah for her husband's job, she went to the Utah Olympic Park to inquire about the Bobsled program. She was encouraged to give the sport of
skeleton a try, so Anderson attended a school and was immediately addicted.
