water polo in Italy...Married to Sarah Azevedo...Has one son, Cruz...Father, Ricardo, is the head coach for the China women’s Water Polo team and previously served as an assistant coach for the U.S. Men’s National Water Polo Team in 2004...In 2015, competed in his eighth FINA World Championships, setting a Water Polo record...Also competes for Sesi Polo in Brazil...While at Stanford University, became the first-ever player to win the prestigious Peter J. Cutino Award four consecutive years...Named the 2004 American Water Polo Coaches Association Player of the Year for the fourth straight season...Hobbies include cooking and traveling.
