- Credits former NBA player Brian Grant, who was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's Disease, as one of his heroes
- Involved with several Parkinson's Disease-related organizations and would love to continue doing so
- Hobbies include drinking coffee, watching Quinten Tarantino movies, walking his dog and riding scooters around Portland, Oregon, his training location
