Jones

Tim Jones first learned about sled hockey at the rink where his brother had figure skating practice. It was there that the South Jersey Wings of Steel sled hockey club had their practices. Jones became interested, joined the club at the age of 12, and has been hooked on sled hockey ever since.

A year after being named a member of the U.S. Paralympics Sled Hockey National Team in 2005, Jones made his way to Torino, where he and Team USA won a bronze medal at the 2006 Paralympic Winter Games. In the 2007-2008 season, Jones played in all 16 games and won another bronze medal at the 2008 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships in Marlborough, Mass. Then he helped the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team capture a gold medal at the International Paralympic Committee Ice Sledge Hockey World Championship in Ostrava, Czech Republic.  In 2010, Jones once again helped Team USA win a gold medal; this time at the Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver, Canada.
