After being injured in 2007, a trip to a local bike shop and exposure to competitive cycling at the 2010 Warrior Games helped begin her Cycling career.
She broke the women’s C4 pursuit world record at the 2016 UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships.
She continued that success at the Paralympic Games Rio 2016 where she became a two-time gold medalist on the track.
Hobbies include coaching, mentoring kids and public speaking about the importance of goals.
