Son of Steve and Tina Mikulak...Has one younger sister, Alex...Won back-to-back NCAA all-around titles in leading the University of Michigan to consecutive national team titles (2013-14)...Named the 2014 Nissen-Emery award recipient...A year before the 2012 Olympic Games, he broke both of his ankles, but was able to utilize the time off his feet to better himself on pommel horse and still rings...Co-founded an herbal tea company called MatéBros with two of his
gymnastics friends...Enjoys long boarding, beatboxing, skeet
shooting and playing
tennis,
soccer, football and
golf...Began gymnastics at age 2...Favorite event is high bar.
