2002-03: Led U.S. National Junior Team defensemen with two goals, including a game-winner, at the 2003 IIHF World Junior Championship. Played in his second IIHF Men’s World Under-18 Championship and notched four points (1-3) in six games as Team USA won the silver medal. Played for the U.S. National Under-18 Team within USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program. Finished second on the team with 22 assists and third with six power-play goals.

2001-02: Won the gold medal with the U.S. National Under-18 Team at the 2002 IIHF Men’s World Under-18 Championship. Scored a goal and added six assists in eight games. Played in 70 games for the U.S. National Under-17 Team within the NTDP. Tallied 39 points (8-31), including a team-leading 16 points in 19 international games.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Totaled 23 points (7-16) in 63 regular-season games with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League in 2004-05. Led team defensemen with six points (1-5) in seven games during the 2005 Calder Cup Playoffs. Played college hockey at the University of Wisconsin of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association during the 2003-04 season. Tallied 19 points (3-16) in 39 games for Wisconsin. Selected by the Nashville Predators in the first round (7th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Father, Bob, won a gold medal with the 1980 “Miracle on Ice” U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team. Uncle, Gary, was a two-time member of the U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team (1998, 2002) and played in the NHL for 17 years (1985-2002) for the Calgary Flames, Chicago Blackhawks and San Jose Sharks. Honored with the Bob Johnson Award at the 2003 USA Hockey Annual Congress for excellence in international competition during the 2002-03 season. Born in 1985, in Madison, Wis.
