Boyt took up
swimming in 2005 at age nine with Team Vortex Swimming team in Fort Collins, Colorado. She holds two Parapan American records, having made her senior international debut in 2008. She was named Colorado Swimming’s 2009 Disabled Swimmer of the Year. Boyt is a two-time Parapan American gold medalist, with two silvers and a bronze medal....Daughter of Richard and Maureen Boyt…Has one brother, Caiden…Hobbies include hiking, camping, reading, eating sushi and playing the ukulele…Has the same matching tattoo as her brother…Studied abroad in Spain…Has done research on bison, raccoons and pileated woodpeckers…Born in the same hospital as teammate
