The Big Blurb

"He had a potential career-ending injury two years ago. It was even more unfortunate because at that point in time, before that injury happened, he was, in my mind, playing some of the best volleyball I've ever seen him play. ... To come back from that in two years and still have the drive, still have the motivation, speaks to his character and his support system." - Matt Anderson on Reid Priddy

The Quote

"At this point, it's been consuming to try and get back to the top level. That's more the focus, especially now that we're here to this summer. It seems like for the last two years it's been a progression. I needed to do all of these steps to get to here. Now that we're here, it's very exciting that there's no more 'I need to cross this threshold.' I've crossed all the thresholds." - Reid Priddy in an Associated Press story about returning to the U.S. Men's National Team after his ACL injury
