I started
karate when I was 5 years old....This is my first time qualifying for the Junior US Team as a 12-13 yrs Female Kumite +47kg!...My real life heroes are my family, friends and coaches because they all share common qualities such as Courage, Passion, Integrity, Honesty, Selflessness, Humility, Patience, Confidence, Caring and Supportive traits....My biggest win was at the 2019 National Championship. This win opened my eyes to being open minded, training smarter, applying new concepts, correcting bad habits and the power of eliminating social media while training....I love to compete because of the emotional roller coaster feeling, gives me a reason to improve my performance and motivates me to try harder....I get my inspiration through the mentoring within my Karate club. The older students provide information on their athletic path, as well as providing guidance, motivation and emotional support...."Work until your idols become your rivals"
