- Son of Kyle Malone and Latasha Sturdivant
- Has a sister, Zion
- His father, Kyle, was a former collegiate sprinter
- Diagnosed with Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy, a rare eye condition that leaves him with 20/400 vision in his left eye and 20/600 in his right eye
- Started losing his vision at 2015 and went to the optometrist, who diagnosed him with the genetic disorder
- Split his time between Hamilton Southeastern High School and the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired
- 2019 Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) 200m state champion
- Holds several records at Hamilton Southeastern High School, including the 100-meter, 200-meter, and 4x100 relay
- His 100-meter time of 10.80 at the age of 15 would have won him a bronze medal at the 2016 Paralympic Games
- Has been a keynote speaker at TEDx Indianapolis
- Became one of the only legally blind Division I sprinters in the nation at Indiana State University
- Enjoys running, painting, taking pictures.
