• Born with a congenital retina disease that left him with severely impaired vision from an early age
• Works as an associate at Sidley & Austin LLP
• Became active in sports and found goalball at a U.S. Association of Blind Athletes Sports Education Camp in 1999
• Hobbies include skiing, hiking, climbing and triathlons.
