Personal
The type of music I listen to is the motivational music that tugs at the heartstrings like Aerosmith or Linking Park....This is my 4th time making the Junior US Team. My first two years I made it in 12-13 female +45 kumite and these past two years I've made it in the 14-15 female +54 kumite division....My heroes are my family, especially my brother. He had pushed me to be better ever since I was little. I always strived to be better than him and he always led as an example for me. I don't think I would be this far without the motivation I have to be like him....What I love about competition is that I get to be myself and that I get to meet new competition and get new friends. Competition brings me into a new mindset and lets me show all of the hard work I put into training beforehand....My hidden talents include playing piano and doing pushups with only my hands...."I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times."
