• Switched over to skeleton after making the bobsled national team as a push athlete
• First introduced to the sport of bobsled after watching the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games
• One of her favorite Bible verses is 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
• She taught herself how to surf when she was 10 years old
• She thought she would play basketball in college. She always wanted to play for the University of Connecticut.
