Missed the first half of the 2021 World Surf League season due to high ankle surgery, but returned to full strength for surfing’s Olympic Games debut...Son of Tina and Dino Andino, a former national champion surfer and WSL Championship Tour competitor...Kolohe means “rascal” in Hawaiian...Has two younger sisters...His youngest sister couldn’t pronounce Kolohe so called him “Brother” – a nickname that stuck on tour...Married Madison Aldrich in early 2018...Qualified for the WSL Championship Tour at age 18 in 2012...First American surfer to provisionally qualify for Team USA’s Olympic surf team...As of July 2021, he won seven USA Surfing Champion titles and nine National Scholastic Surfing Association championships – a record for boys under 18...Quick to encourage and support the up-and-coming talent.
