Making it on Team USA and competing against foreign countries for the first time including Poland, New Zealand, and Great Britain. What do you think is your greatest asset in the ring: Will to win, conditioning, and relentless pressure.
If you weren’t boxing, what would you be doing?: I could not imagine a life without boxing but if I had to choose I would become a Physical Therapist since I am already working towards my degree in Exercise Science.
Who has been your biggest inspiration and why: My father, he came to this country with nothing but $100 in his pocket and a dream. He now owns two houses and provided me and my family with everything we ever needed in our lives.
What motivates you the most: My family. Knowing that if I work hard enough, I can one day make enough money to provide for my family and give everything back to them that they did for me. I want to make it so that they never have to work a day in their life again.
What are five things most people don’t know about you: I speak fluent Spanish, I am in a fraternity, I study Kinesiology at Sacramento State, I love partying, and I fundraised my way to nationals.
