Parents are Dave and Mary Shoji… Father retired as the University of Hawaii women's volleyball coach in 2016; won four national titles in 34 seasons and left coaching with the most wins in NCAA DI women’s Volleyball history…Mary Shoji played basketball at Hawaii... Kawika married his wife, Megan, in 2014… Daughter, Ada-Jean was born in 2018. Daughter Lila-Joy was born in 2020… ... Has one brother, Erik, and a sister, Cobey…Erik plays libero for the U.S. Men’s National Volleyball Team...Hobbies include surfing, golfing and reading.
