International Judo Federation Competition History:  Katelyn Jarrell IJF Profile

Personal:

Jarrell made herself known on the international judo circuit at a young age, competing at the Senior, Junior and Cadet World Championships in 2009 and becoming the youngest U.S. athlete ever to qualify for a Senior World Championship Team at age 14. A high school wrestler who competed on the boys' team, Jarrell went on to represent Team USA at the Youth Olympic Games, winning gold in 2010. The six-time Senior World Team member has battled back from injuries, but has her sights set on qualifying for her first Olympic Team in 2024. Jarrell and her husband, NCAA Division III All-American Stephen Jarrell, own the Iron Faith, a wrestling, judo and jujitsu club in Warwick, R.I.
