• Became the youngest ever U.S goalscorer of the modern era (18 years, 92 days) when he powered a header past Guillermo Ochoa in the United States' 2-2 draw against Mexico in Feb., 2008.
• At 16 years of age, he scored three goals in his first seven games with the New York Red Bulls, and became the youngest player to ever score in an MLS playoff game at 16 years, 337 days.
• Became the youngest player in U.S. Men’s National Team history to score a hat trick, tallying all three goals in the 3-0 victory in 2009 FIFA World Cup Qualifying against Trinidad & Tobago on April 1, 2009, in Nashville
