Elliott first tried monoskiing in December 2011...In April 2011, Sergeant Elliott was serving with the United States Marine Corps in Afghanistan. While on a routine patrol, he stepped on an improvised explosive device. Both of his legs were amputated above the knee and he lost three fingers on his left hand...Son of Dennis and DeLynn Elliott...Has two brothers, Hunter and JOhn...Married to Samantha Elliott...Credits God for giving him a second chance at life and another way to represent the United States...Hobbies include riding motorcycles, flying drones,
swimming, kayaking and playing the PlayStation 4.
