Daughter of Kenneth and Linda Armbruster…Has one sister, Stacy…Married to U.S. teammate, Asya Miller…Has one son, Ryder…Began losing her eyesight at 14 years old after experiencing pain in both eyes…Has no central vision but was left with some usable peripheral vision out of her left eye… Hobbies include skiing, rock climbing, cycling, reading and playing with her son…Began playing goalball after a teacher at a local school for the blind read a newspaper article on her and encouraged her to try the sport…Has traveled to 45 states in the United States…Shaken hands with three U.S. presidents...Inducted into the Colorado Springs Sports Hall of Fame, State of Colorado Sports Hall of Fame and the Colorado Women’s Sports Hall of Fame.
