Fun Facts: Jeff Demps made an important decision in January of 2012 to stick with a sport that has been so kind to him when he announced he would take his name out of the running for the 2012 NFL Draft to instead focus on the upcoming Olympic Track & Field Trials ... Playing running back for the University of Florida, Demps scored 23 touchdowns and rushed for 2,470 yards in his four-year career ... Those numbers included seven touchdowns and an average of 7.8 yards per carry as a freshman when the Gators last won the national championship
