Macom started racing bicycles in BMX then transitioned to road and track cycling in 2004. In 2015, he lost his right leg below the knee from complications of a broken ankle sustained in a bicycle accident. Jason's amputation didn't stop him from pursuing the dream which he set forth as a child, which was to participate at the Games. When he is not training, Macom works in the IT department at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee and is developing with 3D modeling, custom Cycling and adaptive components....…Son of Charles Macom and Lisa Boren…Has two sisters, Aubrey and Misty, and one brother, Jordan…Married to Alisha Macom…Has one daughter, Cadence.World Championship Experience
