Hailey Langland is an American snowboarder known for her achievements in slopestyle and big air competitions. Raised in San Clemente, California, she began snowboarding at age five with her father and started competing by 13. She states that she always knew she was meant to snowboard but didn’t consider becoming a professional snowboarder until winning gold at her first “pro” event at age 14. At just 16, Langland won gold in Big Air at the 2017 Winter X Games, making history as the first female snowboarder to land a cab 1080 double cork in X Games competition. She made her Olympic debut at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018, showcasing her skills on the international stage.
Beyond snowboarding, Langland is a self-taught musician who plays the ukulele, guitar and piano. She also serves on the X Games broadcast team as a Women’s Snowboard Analyst.
