I made alternate 2 years ago, but this is the first year I have made the top 2 seed in Kumite. This year I got first place in my division....Master Roger Jarrett is my hero because of the guidance and strength he has given me throughout the years of me training under him, pushing me beyond what I thought I was capable of, and showing me what I really can do! He is more than just an instructor - but a father figure through my time with him and the dojo....I love competition because I get to see the friends I have made over the years, I get to support my fellow team members as they compete, and I get to watch everyone grow each year!...I get my inspiration from the thought of what there is to come. Knowing what I am capable of and where I can go just pushes me harder and harder to get to my goals!
