MORE ON CODY: He has been skiing since he was 10 and shooting since the age of 14. His first competition was in the 6th grade and he won a bronze medal and silver medal in La Patrie, Quebec. He competed internationally for the first time in Romania in 2016. He trained the Maine Winter Sports Center (now called the Outdoor Sports Institute) since he was 12. He attended public school up until the 6th grade then switched to home schooling where he could focus on histraining and schooling. He's worked at Paradis Shop n Save in Fort Kent, Maine since 2013. He's a native of Enfield, Connecticut, but has been living in Fort Kent since I the age of 4. His parents and only brother live in Fort Kent as well. He has been living and breathing biathlon ever since he got on his first skis. Cody says there is no such thing as an "off season" for him as he trains year-round no matter the weather.
