Quick Facts

• Daughter of Rebecca Bowie and Charles McClammer
• Grew up playing basketball, tennis and track
• Incurred a spinal injury after a car accident at the age of six
• At 14 years old she went on to become the youngest member of the Paralympic U.S. Track and Field team at Beijing 2008 after joining the national team two years prior
• Her dream is to move back to Seattle and work at the hospital she went through rehab at after her accident, Seattle Children’s Hospital, to be a children’s rehab counselor.
