Vancouver Watch
Puckett may be the 2010 version of Dara Torres. The 36-year-old is aiming for his fifth berth on the U.S. Olympic Team, 18 years after his first Olympic Winter Games experience in Albertville. Puckett never made big waves internationally as an alpine skier, but he has aged well and found success in skicross. Based on recent results, he is the top U.S. medal hope in the skiing discipline that will make its Olympic debut in Vancouver.
Personal
Puckett began skiing at age 3. He grew up in a skiing family. His mother was the head coach at Crested Butte's ski program, and Puckett's older brother began competing before he did. Puckett is a father of two daughters, Riley and Annalisa, with his ex-wife, Kate.
