Biographical Information
Campbell Wright, born in Wanaka, New Zealand, is a dual citizen of both New Zealand and the United States, where both of his parents were born. He began biathlon in 2016 at the age of 14. Campbell won a gold medal in the sprint at the 2023 Junior World Championships in Schuchinsk, Kazakhstan, while representing New Zealand. He has made a name for himself amongst the senior biathletes as well, as his top-15 finish at the 2022 Antholz (ITA) World Cup punched him a ticket to the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 as a 19-year-old, where he represented New Zealand. In 2023, he started competing for US Biahtlon.
