Annie Carey

Personal

• Daughter of Sarah and Geoff Carey. Has a sister, McKay, and two brothers, Max and Will.
• Born in China with a severe club foot
• Was adopted and brought back to live in Idaho with her parents and siblings
• Underwent serial casting and surgery ultimately resulting in correction, however resulting in drop foot along with nerve damage
• Began pursuing adaptive sports after watching the Olympic Games London 2012 Within
• Began competing in Paratriathlon, track and field and swimming
• Her first competition was later that year at the Desert Challenge
