An all-around athlete, Alyson Dudek has competed in both short and long track disciplines. The Hales Corners, Wis., native began skating at age 7 and has been a Category 1 short track athlete since 2003, a Category 1 long track athlete in 2004 and is currently a member of the U.S. Speedskating National Short Track Training Program and 2010 U.S. Olympic Team member

During her 2008-09 inaugural season on the World Cup Team, Dudek was a member of the ladies fourth-place World Championship Relay Team and the bronze medal-winning ladies World Team Championship Team.

Dudek's season on the junior circuit was equally impressive as she finished second overall at the 2009 U.S. Junior Short Track Championships, and 10th overall at the 2009 World Junior Short Track Championships. At the 2010 U.S. Olympic Trials for Short Track Speedskating, Dudek blew away the competition in the Ladies 500m, earning her first U.S. Championship title for the event and securing a spot on the Olympic team.

In addition to her accomplishments on the ice, Dudek was an eight-year fast-pitch softball veteran - making the All-Star team - and ran varsity track for four years. Off the ice, Dudek enjoys going to the movies and being with her family.
