Daughter of Lynn and Rick Raisman...Has two sisters, Madison and Chloe, and one brother, Brett...Favorite event is floor exercise...Began
gymnastics in 1996, after repeatedly watching a recording of the 1996 Olympic Games, in which the U.S. won the women’s team gold medal...Took a break from competitive Gymnastics following the 2012 Olympic Games, returning to competition in March 2015 to pursue her second Olympic berth...Finished fourth on the 16th season of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2013...Supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother, who passed away from the disease...Plans to pursue a career in fashion and expand her signature line of leotards and socks...Hobbies include practicing hot yoga...Volunteers with Special Olympics.
