Daughter of Ken and Debra Krieger...Has one brother, Kyle, whom she calls her hero...Began her professional
soccer career in Frankfurt, Germany, where she helped Frankfurt to the 2011 German Cup title...Allocated to the Washington Spirit for the inaugural season of the NWSL...Has a tattoo the word, Liebe, which means “love” in German...Krieger means “warrior” in German and her teammates called her “The Warrior Princess”...Broke her leg during her final year at Penn State University; several plane flights during the College Cup led to blood clots in her leg that resulted in a pulmonary embolism and a series of mini heart-attacks...Coached by her father, Ken, from ages 7-19...Speaks fluent German...Hopes to pursue a career in sports broadcasting and continue to positively impact women’s Soccer around the world after retiring from the sport...Never leaves the house without wearing mascara, which she calls her “war paint”...Interests include longboarding, practicing yoga, hiking, golfing and dancing.
