  • Born with arthrogryposis amyoplasia, a muscular skeletal disorder that affects her lower limbs
  • Always participated in a variety of sports and began swimming at age 11 to combat chronic hip pain due to her bilateral hip dysplasia
  • At age 12, she competed in her first Para swimming event, the GTAC Disability Open and less than a year later she was named to the U.S. emerging team roster

  • Swims at the NCAA Division I level at Rice University in Houston

  • Hobbies include cooking, baking, movies, reading, spending time with friends and family

  • Daughter to Tom and Anna

  • Has two siblings Alex and Charlie

  • Has a black lab named Rocky
