• Traded to the L.A. Kings from the Colorado Avalanche in February of 2001, after which the Avalanche went on to win the Stanley Cup
• Miller played four full seasons with the Avalanche (1996-2000). In his first season, he led all NHL rookies with a +15 plus/minus rating. Prior to joining the Avalanche, Miller spent three seasons in the American Hockey League with the Cornwall Aces
• After being drafted by the New York Rangers in 1989, Miller opted to first attend college at the University of Vermont, where he enjoyed an outstanding four-year career. He graduated with a degree in business

It's Every Day
In Salt Lake City, Miller will be reunited with former college teammate John LeClair for the first time in over 10 years. Miller and LeClair provided a powerful defensive and offensive punch to the University of Vermont during the two years they played together from 1989 to 1991.
